Great looking fridge! I have always wanted one.
I attempted last summer to restore a late 40's early 50's Electrolux Freezer. Turned out to be a failure got to admit. I got it at a local second hand place here next to nothing, but it looked completely new inside and out. Wouldn't be too hard I thought. the on off and clicking made me think it was probably just a bad start relay. It wasn't. Long story short, the compressor started running hotter than hades and stopped. To put a new system in costs an arm and leg. I really wouldn't want a china compressor in it anyway, add in the freon ban it needs and how I just don't have the space, (7 week old baby boy home now ) is the reason why it's wrapped finely under a tarp on the back porch. guess I'll haul it off. Nobody seems to want it here in Sweden. Shame, closing the door on it is like shutting the door to a classic Cadillac.

Hi,
I like the kitchen, just wish we had one like it back in the 50's. The one we had only had a large range until '65. I still have the pans mum used to cook with and I wonder how many of you remember these? Gezza. |
