Default Hacker Sovereign 3

Has anyone found a direct modern replacement for the FM whip aerials on these?

I have used a Roberts R900 new replacement which works OK but would prefer something which looks more original.

In short, no. What you have is probably the best available today. The tip is different, but otherwise it's not a bad match for the set.

A lot of folk recommend a Maplin aerial, but that lacks the tilting knuckle.

With the older Hackers - that use aerials with a smaller overall diameter - then certain Fidelity aerials are a reasonable match, provided you swap them at the knuckle. No-doubt there are many other possibilities, if you don't mind sacrificing another set.

I'm obviously very happy to be corrected

Depending on what the problem with the aerial on the set (missing?) they can usually be repaired.
