Re: Candlestick Telephone help.
If you want to go for the 150 wiring then there is no alternative but to put the leaves in a different order as the No.4 connects TR to TS when on hook and these leaves are connected direct.
If its not possible to rearrange the leaves to create the 150 configuration then you can swap the bottom (1st) and 3rd leaf so that TR to TS is disconnected on hook. Connect leaf 5 to TS and leaf 6 to D. Leaf 1 and 4 should not be connected. |

Re: Candlestick Telephone help.
Because we are fairly local to each other Sitwell brought his 'phone for me to look at.
Unfortunately I couldn't do it on a 'While you wait' basis, probably because I'm not used to working for an audience. However, when alone I got it working. |

Re: Candlestick Telephone help.
As a matter of interest, are you (and Sitwell) willing to share what the problem was.

Re: Candlestick Telephone help.
The only problem was it's not seeming to be exactly a 150 or a 12.
There were signs of poor soldering on the tags on the back of the terminals so that probably explains it. Also, some of the nuts and bolts that form the terminals are nickel-plated and some plain brass so I think we can put it down to the Phantom Fiddler. I can also confirm that the "150" has a horizontal line stamped through it and "No 4" above it. Last edited by ThePillenwerfer; 16th May 2017 at 4:28 pm. Reason: Addition. |
