I remember visiting a Hi-Fi show many years ago, when JWs were very popular.
Having heard a wide variety of speakers on the day, I came away thinking that the JWs were the only ones I'd definitely not want to own!

Thanks for all the replies, I will tell my friend the gist of what you have all said, it does not sound as if they are very desirable. I think he will be prepared to more or less give them away as speakers are kicking around ten a penny.

He could just bung them on eBay and see what happens. You never know what is currently fashionable in the retro hifi world.

He doesn't want to be bothering with ebay and I advised him that here the stuff would go to a good home from this forum ie to an enthusiast. He is not looking for huge money

OTOH, I've just read that Jordan Watts drivers have a big following in Japan... I can still remember finding a not-very-special, but fairly early Philips portable CD player on a skip and getting £120 +p&p for it from a Japanese bidder.
