Default Possible audio jumble sale in the north of England

John Howes' very successful Audiojumble sales, held twice a year in Tonbridge in Kent, are well known across the hi-fi community. They also attract vintage electronics enthusiasts who might be looking to buy or sell both complete pieces of equipment and components. They're regularly attended by people from all over the UK and even from continental Europe. However the prospect of spending many tens of pounds on fuel and also of hacking around the overcrowded and accident-prone M25 does, apparently, deter quite a few folks from going.

Anthony Taylor, who is now the owner of the Hifi WigWam forum and vinyl shop and the organiser of the annual Scalford Hall hifi show, is looking into the possibility of running a similar 'jumble' in the north of the country (and perhaps the midlands). One option for a venue might be Pudsey Civic Hall next spring/summer. The details are here http://www.hifiwigwam.com/showthread...io-Jumble-2016.

I've got no connection with this event other than an interest, perhaps, in going. But Anthony is keen to gauge the level of support. So I thought I'd spread the word in case anyone wants to contact him and encourage or, I suppose, discourage him.

Cheers,

GJ
