MuTek GLNA432E info
Hello,
Some time ago I found a MuTek GLNA432E. It was inadvertently advertised as a 144 MHz unit and was supplied with aN SBLA144e schematic. So I'm at a loss how to troubleshoot this non working unit. I have searched the net but found nothing useful. If anyone knows anything about this unit, e.g., transistor used or even better the schematic, please let me know. It is a vintage well built 1983 unit with RF sense switching so I really would like to get it up and running. Thanks Ben AB4AB |

This is the U.H.F. GaAs fet preamplifier module as used in the 70cms GaAs fet masthead amplifier. Optimised for 432 MHz this unit has a gain of 15dB and a noise figure of 0.5 dB typ.
MUTEK still exist in Scotland try an email to them. Regards David GM8JET info@mutekrf.com |

Re: MuTek GLNA432E info
I understand from another source that the guy in Scotland recently became silent key. He never actually did anything with the company once he had bought it. The original owner of the company, Chris GW4DGU is quite approachable. Have a look on QRZ.Com for his address and send him an enquiry.
Well worth getting going, pretty state of the art in the day. Last edited by Brian R Pateman; 27th Apr 2012 at 12:48 pm. Reason: Quote removed. |
