Early 60s portable radio identification needed
A difficult one perhaps, but here's a photo (on top of the Bush radiogram) of a side-on view of an early 60s portable transistor radio. It was given to me in 1969 (at the age of 5) to pull apart and was instrumental in giving me my interest in electronics. I remember it had (I think) Mullard transistors in it, and you can see that it had sockets for an aerial and presumably headphones and external power. It was promptly discarded after I had finished with it. Any ideas what it was?

Amazing! Spot on! Yes, that's the one - I remember the internals more than the front. I'm going to have to track one down now. Thanks Lawrence.
