Default Valve question.

Hello, this may be in the wrong section, if it is apologies, while having a look through some boxes then I found a couple of valves.
A P625 testing as 'Good' , didn't keep it on too long as the reading was fluctuating a bit.
This is the interesting one,
A Tungosram. Made in Hungary. HR 607. 6V - 200V. Barium Tube. Not having a listing on this one then I didn't attempt to do anything with it.
These I have had for years and had forgotten about.
If anyone can make use of these then please yell.
Also if anyone knows what the HR 607 is all about then I would like to know please.

Cheers.
Geoff.

Question Re: Valve question.

When you say a "P625", do you mean a "6P25"?

"Tungosram"? I've some valve boxes here (yellow and black) bearing the name "Tungsram" and I believe they were made in Hungary.

I've never heard on an HR607. Sure you've read the inscription / marking correctly?

Al.

If you can understand German, there's a similar valve here with a picture.

I presume the reference to barium is that the valve is indirectly heated and uses a cathode coated with barium.

From what little I understand of the link in Alfs post, that valve is a indirectly heated HF Pentode.

With a 6V 70mA filament. With a bench PSU, should be OK to gently wake it up.

Thanks chaps, my boob I am afraid, I can read TUN---RAM and the bit in the middle was a bit blurred so it was a guess that went wrong.
P625 it is and it is clearly marked, a 4 pin large balloon valve with about 75% silvering, lovely. To my eyes anyway. Oh and it is an OSRAM no mistake this time.
As always thanks for your help.
Cheers.
Geoff.
PS.
I don't have a use for them.
