Default What are the main differences between Philips PM3217 and PM3217u oscilloscopes

Good evening.
What are the main differences between Philips PM3217 and PM3217u oscilloscopes.
Looking through a manual it only appears to be the maximum input voltage on the Y amp BNC sockets but for what reason?

Many thanks,
Christopher Capener
