Default I cannot post a reply to a thread. Confused !

To a Moderator,

I tried today to post a question to a thread in Repair and Restoration Services Offered but got a message saying.................

''percival007, you do not have permission to access this page........''
Several 'reasons were then given.

I wasn't aware privileges were needed to access the threads in this part of the forum (?)

Can someone explain?

Thanks,

James.

Sorry, my mistake, have re-read the rules which state no replies are allowed.

Sorry about my confusion, this thread can be deleted.

Thanks,

James.

You can post in the "Repair and Restoration Services Offered" and "Repair and Restoration Services Wanted" sections, but your post will need to be approved by a moderator before it appears.

We moderate posts on the Offered section because we found that some new members with little knowledge or experience were offering repair services.

We moderate replies in the Wanted section to ensure that members are offering a repair service and not offering advice on how to repair an item. If a member wanted advice on how to repair an item they'd have posted in say "Vintage Radio Domestic".

Hi mods, on a similar topic, is it possible to modify my entry in the services offered section to add some further services?

Thanks, Ed

No problem Ed. Report it using the red triangle bottom left, and let us know what you want to say.
