Early products from the Spencer-West company.
Advert in the October 1952 Practical Television magazine.
One is a converter to enable Sutton Coldfield TV sets to receive the transmissions from the newly opened Wenvoe transmitter. The AC14 unit has five valves so it is not a simple device. The other item is the AC13 pre-amplifier. The company also made other items to improve TV reception. Spencer-West were very competent on coil design. Also did some pioneering on printed circuit design, it was said they worked with Pye to develop their PCBs. DFWB. |
