Hi,
I have found a used but good R4 150, alas the one only NEW P4 150 I have is under offer at the moment. However I have asked the potential purchaser to affirm by Monday, if not one or both are yours if required. The new/used heads would be £48. 00 plus postage to Norway, whatever that might be. If interested let me know & as stated if the NEW P4 150 is not taken , we can do a deal. OK?

Cheers.

Colin.

Looks like this deck is coming from the UK. It has been serviced in 88.

The wear on the erase head can be ignored, if only for the fact the plastic around the pole pieces wears away (unlike the brass head of the 4000D which wears severely)
It is possible to alter the zenith so the wear over the head surface is more even.

Now it's almost ready again. New lamp for vu meters and new belts. New heads will be next. Then I will be ready to restore a Philips N4450 deck. But that will be another story.

Hi Vinylguru. Can you describe the lamp bulb and where you got it from? Wonder if its the same bulb as in the 1720L?

Heads look good - don't forget it's a good policy to demagnetise the entire head
block assembly before use. Keep the demagnetiser away from the VU meters though !
