Default AVOmeter HD6

Does anyone know anything about this?

Ex BR. Appears to have been made in 1985.

Does it take a D cell or something exotic?

I shall check through the drawing archive and see the battery type is detailed in the instrument assembly drawing. This may take a little while, but I will get back to you.

The instrument drawings call up an Ever Ready U2 cell. A thing of the past.
Although similar in size to the D cell.
