Default Very old electrical appliances

This picture is taken from the IEE centenary edition of Electronics and Power, 1971. The article is about the history of the wiring regulations. The patterning effects are presumably due to my scanner interacting with the dot pattern in the printing.

Moire patterning by said interaction. It can be removed if your photo-editing software includes a 'blur' function. Patterning is hardly noticeable on your scan, though.

Interesting pics, and akin to some items in my 1920s 'Sunco' electrical catalogue.

You may get better results if you scan at a higher or lower resolution.

hats interesting.I have one of the pip top Bulbs, what ever they are from that space heater ! unfortunately i think its blown.
