Default Audio drive belts

Does anyone know of a comprehensive and reliable supplier of tape machine drive belts?

Ebay sellers sell generic belt kits - these contain about 15 fairly thin belts in a wide range of diameters. They won't replace tbe capstan belt in a cassette or R2R deck but often cover all the other requirements.

Expensive but very good quality belts used in the kits and good service.
This is a link for an example they hold a huge catalogue for various machines

Charles Hyde also still carry a good range of belts:

From the menu at the left hand side, choose 'General -> Belts' and then continue on into the category you are looking for. There are pages and pages of them, sorted first of all by type (round, square or flat) and then in ascending diameter.

Been searching high and low on the Internet for replacement Drive Belts for my Akai 4000 DS MK11 and eventually came across this site. Check it out, as it covers a multitude of spares relevant here.

I found a good supplier to be Cricklewood Electronics for cassette deck and record deck belts, not too costly and a good selection of sizes.

Vintage Electronics in the USA carry a decent range of complete belt kits that are excellent. All the ones I have used have been spot on in size and eliminate the worry of measuring a baggy old belt and wondering how much it has stretched!
