Do I have to remove the cassette carriage to change the belts? I'm getting a portable Fisher VBR 330 (VPR-5800 clone) and I would like to know how to deal with it..

Is the process different from the VTC 5350? I think the VPR 5800 uses a mechanical eject like the VTC 5000/5150 but the rest of the mechanism is the same to the VTC 5350.

The Eject Mechanism of the VPR-5800
are the same of the Sanyo VTC-5300P / VTC-5400P.

Hello! I just got today my Fisher VBR 330 (VPR 5800 clone) with a colour camera that works! However, the two counter belts are in very bad condition! When I press play, FF or REW, the tape moves but the tape counter doesn't move and this causes the machine to stop after 2-3 seconds.
