Default Marconi TF-868

I have a series I instrument, it seems to work but is in need of a really good clean inside and out. To do this I have to remove the main dial, any manual I can find gives zero information concerning this task. Is there anyone out there who can help me with some guidance or relevant information? Thank you

Hi Karl.

Thank you for replying to my post. Sadly I have the information you posted and to be frank it doesn't help with the actual disassembly of the instrument. I am stuck trying to remove the item marked 132. This passes through the main panel as far as the front edge that (as you can see) is slightly larger in diameter. This item (132) has a number of brackets and components fixed to the rear, some of these obviously fix it to the panel but others mount switches and actuating mechanisms. I guess I'm not too sharp but I simply am not able to see how to remove these, and in what order, so that I can completely remove the main panel and get to all the parts behind it. Thank you again for your input.

Regards Terry
