Default Transistor radio with RF amp etc.

Hi all,

Out of sheer interest has anyone got a circuit or a reference for the BVWS CD rom for a radio with an RF stage and/or seperate oscillator using the OC series transistors?

The Dansette portable used oc series transistors but I think the signal fed straight into the freq changer there was no RF amp stage.

If we count the American and Japanese radios with other than the OC series there are lots of them, but finding types with them old OC:s is much harder. Here's at least one:

Does the EC10 count?

RF, osc, mixer, 3 IF ..... all OC transistors (albeit OC171 in the RF stages).

That looks like a splendid beast, I want one, even though it doesn't have valves.
Who made it?

The Russian Vef-206 (Tento) and its derivatives have separate RF amp, mixer, and oscillator circuits. They use germanium PNP transistors, though not the OC series, but the P423 and P422 in the RF and IF stages.
