Marantz amp; power lead help
I have a couple of Marantz amps that have a kettle lead style socket on the back but is only 2 pin. Does anyone know what the type of lead I need is called and where I could source a couple.

Sounds like the 2pin and earth.standard on kettles a few years ago.I may have some of these.
Most of the kettle connectors were 2pin,the earth was the often the outside connection, or flat pin (later),all before the iec type. |

I think you can just use a normal, 3-terminal IEC lead, as supplied with computers, fax machines, CRT monitors etc.

If its the IEC type you can not use a computer lead,these are not the same and are not intended for that purpose.

It is like the bottom picture but the hole is rectangular so it wont fit a standard kettle lead in it.
