Default Re: UV light to UV Led conversion?

Right I have so far, removed the fuse for the 230v supply to the original board, and removed the UV tube, I have just bunged the parts in to see if it works and thankfully it does, it is a lot brighter than the UV tube.
Having confirmed that it works I shall go and sort out the mounting of the 2 UV LED's so they are in the correct position, install a 12v regulator to power the circuit.
And hey presto that's that (hopefully)
Attached are a couple of pictures

Taken out the UV PCB, mounted the quartz strobe board, added an LM7812 regulator to power it (run off main supply), did a bit of plasticard modelling and finally ended up using two 3mm wide angle warm white Led's all works really wel, Il can see the strobe numbers clearly (though as you can see I cannot take a clear photo of them).
I re-routed the pitch control cables as the original UV board also was a patch board for them
