I’ve looked at a number of web articles about using basic DFC modules and it seems to be fairly standard practice to put a buffer amp in front of them, and some users also like to add a Schmitt trigger between the amp and the DFC. I think that is there to get a clean, square waveform. Does that sound like a good idea?
