I'm pretty impressed myself, the lack of bandwidth shows more clearly on smaller text. Movies are quite watchable at the moment, though. Must get cracking on a modulator, it can only get better.

The lack of visible line structure in the photos is what it's like for real, though at 800 x 600 the photos are lower resolution than the TV. Those are 1152 x 738 pictures there.

You've really got to get quite close up to see the lines, and that's a 23" set. It's pretty impressive. Who said high-definition TV was a new thing?

I'll post some technical details and the X modeline presently (I've come up with a better way of calculating them and have an improved 405-line one coming soon...)
