Yes, Philips seem to have had factories or subsidiaries almost everywhere in the world (Google 'Philips Factory Valve Codes').
The Australian miniwatt factory was 'Hendon Works' in Alberton (a suburb of Adelaide I believe). Factory code 'C'.
