Default Re: Who have information about the scophony ?

There are several versions of the Scophony design, and the development was chronicled in Television.

Some use a single mirror drum, with a standing wave type light valve, where as the later versions use a simple light valve and two mirror drums.

There is also a version using a single moving mirror, and an arc of fixed mirrors (earliest type?).

My copies of Television are currently in my old office at West Drayton, so I can't access them for a couple of weeks - John, did you scan the Scophony bits when you borrowed the magazines?

Jim.
