BSR p157 tonearm shaft

Hi,

I found a BSR P157 deck along with its wooden plinth in a skip.

The deck looks almost like new except the plastic base from which the tonearm shaft comes out of is broken across the hole and the shaft is wobbly.

I have the broken off fragment and I think it's easy to superglue it back on... the problem is, was there supposed to be a ball bearing in there? If so I think the balls got lost and I can just strip the whole thing for parts and throw it back into the skip...
