Invicta 30 how many models?

Did Invicta run out of model numbers? I have an Invicta model 30 transistor radio, when I search for service information it comes up with a television. Now I notice there is an Invicta model 30 valve set for sale on this forum. Are there any more Invicta sets designated model 30? ??? John.

I believe the official designation for the valve radio was 30AC although you never see that in print anywhere, for some odd reason. I had one a few years ago and as far as I recall that just had either '30' or 'Model 30' on its rear.

As far as I've been aware, just the valve and transistor radios had the number '30'; I wasn't aware until now there was also a TV with that number.

If the valve radio was indeed officially the '30AC' then it seems strange this was apparently never quoted in full. It must've caused quite some confusion at times.

It's very likely there were no two model 30's in production at any one time, certainly the valve and transistor radios weren't, so that would all-but eliminate confusion at the factory but not when it came to post-sale servicing and repairs.
